NPM2 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 237 amino acids (1-214) and having a molecular mass of 26.6 kDa.NPM2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NPM2 is a member of nucleoplasmin family. NPM2 is a core histones chaperone which takes part in chromatin reprogramming; particularly throughout fertilization and early embryonic development. NPM2 also takes part in sperm DNA decondensation during fertilization.
