- Source : E.coli. MRM1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 356 amino acids (21-353) and having a molecular mass of 38.8kDa. MRM1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Mitochondrial rRNA methyltransferase 1 homolog (MRM1) is a part of the RNA methyltransferase TrmH family. MRM1 methylates the ribose of guanosine G-2270 in the peptidyl transferase center of the mitochondrial large ribosomal RNA (21S).
