LY86 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids (21-162) and having a molecular mass of 18.1kDa.LY86 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. LY86 is vital for effective CD180 cell surface expression and is vastly expressed in B-cells; tonsil and monocytes. LY86 collaborate with TLR4 and CD180 to facilitate the essential immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and cytokine production.
