HPR Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 352 amino acids (20-348 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 39.3kDa.HPR is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Haptoglobin-Related Protein also known as HPR; is a primate-specific plasma protein related with apolipoprotein L-I (apoL-I)-containing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles which shown to be a part of the innate immune defense. HPR-bound hemoglobin might contribute to the biologic activity of the circulating apoL-I/Hprcontaining HDL particles. HPR is a clinically significant forecaster of recurrence of breast cancer.
