GTF2F2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 269 amino acids (1-249 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 30.5kDa (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher).GTF2F2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. General Transcription Factor IIF Polypeptide 2 (GTF2F2) is a general transcription initiation factor which binds to RNA polymerase II and helps engage it in the initiation complex in collaboration with TFIIB. GTF2F2 promotes transcription elongation. GTF2F2 shows ATP-dependent DNA-helicase activity.
