- Source : Escherichia Coli. GTF2A1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is. a single polypeptide chain containing 297 amino acids (1-274) and having a molecular mass of 32.2kDa. GTF2A1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. General Transcription Factor IIA; 1 (GTF2A1) in a complex along with TBP mediates transcriptional activity. GTF2A1 is a part of the transcription machinery of RNA polymerase II and is also participates in transcriptional activation.
