- Source : E.coli. FAM49B Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 347amino acids (1-324 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 39.1kDa. FAM49B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Family with Sequence Similarity 49; Member B (FAM49B) is a member of the FAM49 family. In the latest genome-wide transcriptional analysis; a gene signature was identified for multiple sclerosis (MS); which reverted back to normal during pregnancy. The reversion was mostly evident for seven genes: SOCS2; TNFAIP3; NR4A2; CXCR4; POLR2J; FAM49B; and STAG3L1; most of which are negative regulators of inflammation.
