ERP27 Human Recombinant fused with a 21 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing 269 amino acids (26-273 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 30kDa. The ERP27 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Endoplasmic reticulum protein 27kDa (ERP27) is a widely expressed protein which localizes to the ER and may act as a protease; protein disulfide isomerase; thiol-disulfide oxidase or phospholipase. ERP27 doesn't contain a CXXC active site motif indicating that it is a catalytically redox-inactive member of the protein disulfide isomerase family.
