EMCN Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 197 amino acids (19-190 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 20.5kDa.EMCN is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Endothelial sialomucin (Endomucin) interferes with the assembly of focal adhesion complexes and inhibits interaction between cells and the extracellular matrix. Endomucin is expressed in the heart; kidney and lung.
