CYTH3 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 422 amino acids (1-399) and having a molecular mass of 48.7 kDa.CYTH3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Cytohesin 3 (CYTH3) belongs to the PSCD family; whose members have identical structural organization which consists of an N-terminal coiled-coil motif; a central Sec7 domain; and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain; and seem to mediate the regulation of protein sorting and membrane trafficking. CYTH3 is involved in the regulation of Golgi structure and function; and it might have a physiological role in regulating ADP-ribosylation factor protein 6 (ARF) functions; in addition to acting on ARF1.
