CRCP Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 168 amino acids (1-148) and having a molecular mass of 19.0 kDa.The CRCP is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. CRCP is a ubiquitous coupling protein for the calcitonin gene-related peptide and adrenomedullin receptors. CRCP controls ligand sensitivity in several tissues and has DNA-directed RNA polymerase activity; catalytic activity and calcitonin receptor activity.
