CHODL Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 220 amino acids (22-216) and having a molecular mass of 24.6 kDa.CHODL is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Chondrolectin (CHODL) is a type I membrane protein with a carbohydrate recognition domain characteristic of C-type lectins in its extracellular portion. In other proteins; this domain is involved in endocytosis of glycoproteins and exogenous sugar-bearing pathogens. The CHODL protein localizes mainly to the perinuclear region.
