CHCHD3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 250 amino acids (1-227 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 28.5kDa.CHCHD3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Coiled-coil-helix-coiled-coil-helix domain containing 3 (CHCHD3); is a protein-coding gene. CHCHD3 is essential for maintenance of mitochondrial crista integrity and mitochondrial function. In addition; CHCHD3 may perform as a scaffolding protein that stabilizes protein complexes involved in crista architecture and protein import. CHCHD3 may also act as a transcription factor which binds to the BAG1 promoter and represses BAG1 transcription. Lung cancer has been associated with CHCHD3.
