CENPP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 308 amino acids (1-288 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 35.3kDa.CENPP is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Centromere protein P (CENPP) is component of the CENPA-CAD (nucleosome distal) complex; which is a complex recruited to centromeres and involved in assembly of kinetochore proteins; mitotic progression and chromosome segregation. CENPP protein is involved in incorporation of newly synthesized CENPA into centromeres by way of its interaction with the CENPA-NAC complex.
