ASB8 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 311 amino acids (1-288) and having a molecular mass of 34.0kDa.ASB8 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. ASB8 is a substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that facilitates the ubiquitination and consequent proteasomal degradation of objective proteins.
