CDK2AP1 Human Recombinant fused to 37 amino acid His Tag at N-terminal produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids (1-115 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 16.6 kDa. The CDK2AP1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. CDK2AP1 is a CDK2-associated protein that negatively regulates CDK2 activity by sequestering monomeric CDK2; and targeting CDK2 for proteolysis. CDK2AP1 interacts with DNA polymerase alpha and mediates the phosphorylation of the large p180 subunit; which implicates the regulatory role in DNA replication during S phase of the cell cycle.
