SDSL Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 353 amino acids (1-329) and having a molecular mass of 37.3 kDa.SDSL is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. SDSL belongs to the serine/threonine dehydratase family and function as a serinespecific dehydratase. SDSL utilizes pyridoxal phosphate and is one of three key enzymes which take part in the metabolism of Glycine and serine.
