PIN4 produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 176 amino acids (1-156 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 18.8kDa.PIN4 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase NIMA-interacting 4 (PIN4) is a peptidyl-prolyl cis/trans isomerase (PPIase) which interacts with NIMA and is vital for cell cycle regulation. PIN4 has 2 different isoforms: PAR14 and PAR17. Furthermore; Pin4 protein binds to double-stranded DNA under physiological salt conditions.
