- Extra Details:
- Source : HEK 293. LIPG Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a single; glycosylated; polypeptide chain (Ser21-Pro500) containing a total of 490 amino acids; having a calculated molecular mass of 55.8kDa. LIPG is fused to a 2 aa N-terminal linker; a 2 aa C-terminal linker and a 6 aa His tag at C-Terminus. Lipase Endothelial (LIPG) has extensive phospholipase activity and may be involved in lipoprotein metabolism and vascular biology. The LIPG protein is considered a member of the TG lipase family through its sequence and characteristic lid region which provides substrate specificity for enzymes of the TG lipase family. In addition; the LIPG has triglyceride lipase activities. LIPG hydrolyzes HDLs more efficiently than other lipoproteins. LIPG also binds heparin.
