GFPT1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 391 amino acids (332-669 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 43.7kDa.GFPT1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Glutamine--Fructose-6-Phosphate Transaminase 1 (GFPT1) participates in the hexosamine pathway and controls the glucose fluidity into the hexosamine pathway. GFPT1 regulates the availability of precursors for N- and O-linked glycosylation of proteins. GFPT1 controls the circadian expression of clock genes ARNTL/BMAL1 and CRY1.
