DESI1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 191 amino acids (1-168) and having a molecular mass of 20.7kDa.DESI1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. DESI1 belongs to the DeSI family and contains 1 PPPDE peptidase domain. This protein is a protease which deconjugates SUMO1; SUMO2 and SUMO3 from some substrate proteins and has isopeptidase but not SUMO-processing activity. DESI1 desumoylates ZBTB46.
