BCAT1 Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 409 amino acids (1-386) and having a molecular mass of 45.4kDa.BCAT1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. BCAT1 catalyzes the leading reaction in the catabolism of the indispensable branched chain amino acids isoleucine; leucine and valine.
