INHBC Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 139 amino acids (237-352) and having a molecular mass of 14.9kDa.INHBC is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. INHBC; the beta C chain of inhibin; belongs to the TGF-beta superfamily. INHBC formulates heterodimers with beta A and beta B subunits. Other members of the TGF-beta superfamily are Activins and Inhibins; hormones with contradictory roles which take part in pituitary; hypothalamic; and gonadal hormone secretion; as well as differentiation and growth of numerous cell types.
