Expression Host : HEK293 The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 53.9 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. Inducible co-stimulator ligand (ICOSL); also known as B7-H2; is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules related to B7-1 and B7-2.The protein is the ligand for the T-cell-specific cell surface receptor ICOS. Acts as a costimulatory signal for T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion; induces also B-cell proliferation and differentiation into plasma cells. Could play an important role in mediating local tissue responses to inflammatory conditions; as well as in modulating the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function.
Purification:
The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
