- Source : Escherichia Coli. OSTF1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a monomeric; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing 225 amino acids (1-217) and having a molecular mass of 25.1kDa. The OSTF1 is fused to an 8 amino acid His Tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. OSTF1 is an intracellular protein produced by osteoclasts that induces bone resorption; via signaling cascade which results in the secretion of factors enhancing osteoclast formation and activity.
