- Source : Escherichia Coli. NRTN Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a homodimeric non-glycosylated polypeptide chains consisting of two 102 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 23.4kDa. NRTN belongs to the GDNF family of ligands; a distant member of the TGF-beta superfamily. NRTN; a ligand used to bind to GFRA2 receptors; signals through RET and a GPI-linked coreceptor; and promotes endurance of neuronal populations; controls the size of non-neuronal cell population such as haemopoietic cells and regulate the development and maintenance of the CNS. Mutation in NRTN results in Hirschsprung Disease.

- Greater than 96.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

- Lyophilized NRTN although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks; should be stored desiccated below -18[o]C. Upon reconstitution NRTN should be stored at 4[o]C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18[o]C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
