IGFBP6 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing amino acids 148-240 and having a molecular mass of 20 kDa including 4kDa His tag. IGFBP6 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. IGFBP6 plays a role in lipoprotein assembly and dietary cholesterol absorption. in addition to its acyltransferase activity; it may act as a ligase. may provide cholesteryl esters for lipoprotein secretion from hepatocytes and intestinal mucosa.
