SFRPs perform like soluble modulators of Wnt signaling. SFRP5 & SFRP1 are implicated in determining the polarity of photoreceptor cells in the retina. SFRP5 is highly expressed in the retinal pigment epithelium; as well as moderately expressed in the pancreas. SFRP5 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 311 amino acids (30-317 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 35kDa.SFRP5 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
