- Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile Filtered clear solution.Regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain-containing protein 1B (RPRD1B) interacts with phosphorylated C-terminal heptapeptide repeat domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A; and participates in dephosphorylation of the CTD. RPRD1B stimulates binding of RNA polymerase II to the CCDN1 promoter and to the termination region before the poly-A site but decreases its binding after the poly-A site. RPRD1B inhibits RNA polymerase II from reading through the 3' end termination site and may allow it to be drafted back to the promoter through promotion of the formation of a chromatin loop. In addition; RPRD1B enhances the transcription of several other cell cycle-related genes including CDK2; CDK4; CDK6 and cyclin-E but not CDKN1A; CDKN1B or cyclin-A. RPRD1B also promotes cell proliferation.RPRD1B Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 349 amino acids (1-326 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 39.3kDa.RPRD1B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
