The genes in this family encode cell adhesion proteins; which are expressed at higher levels in tumorous tissues rather than in normal tissues. CEACAM3 plays a significant part in the clearance of pathogens through the innate immune system. In addition; CEACAM3 is accountable for RAC1 stimulation in the course of pathogen phagocytosis.CEACAM3 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 130 amino acids (35-155a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 14.2kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 13.5-18kDa).CEACAM3 is expressed with a 6 amino acids His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
