- Source: Sf9; Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.CUB Domain Containing Protein 1; also known as CDCP1 is a transmembrane protein which contains three extracellular CUB domains. CDCP1 is implicated in cell adhesion and cell matrix association. In addition; CDCP1 takes part in the regulation of anchorage versus migration or proliferation versus differentiation through its phosphorylation. CDCP1 is also a novel marker for leukemia diagnosis as well as for immature hematopoietic stem cell subsets. Furthermore; the extracellular region of human CDCP1 shares amino acid identity sequence with the mouse CDCP1.CDCP1 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 646 amino acids (30-667a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 72.8kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 70-100kDa). CDCP1 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
