- Source: Sf9; Baculovirus cells.Sterile filtered colorless solution.CD22; also known as Sialic Acid-Binding Ig-Like Lectin 2; is part of the immunoglobulin(Ig)superfamily. CD22 mediates B-cell to B-cell interactions and is implicated in the localization of B-cells in lymphoid tissues. CD22 acts as positive regulator via interaction with the Src family tyrosine kinases; in addition CD22 preform as an inhibitory receptor by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatases.CD22 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 907 amino acids (20-687a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 102.1kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 100-150KDa).CD22 is expressed with a 239 amino acid hIgG-His-tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
