CD18 may be a member of an extended family of cell surface molecules including the fibronectin binding protein. In addition; CD18 is a complement receptor type 3 (CR3). CD18 triggers neutrophil transmigration during lung injury through PTK2B/PYK2-mediated activation.CD18 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 686 amino acids (23-700 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 75.9kDa (Migrates at 70-100kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions).CD18 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
