It is expressed on most naive T cells; some hematopoietic stem cells; mature dendritic cells; NK cells and some memory T cells and B cells subsets. CD197 plays important roles in development of thymocytes; and regulating the recirculation and homing of lymphocytes and dendritic cells to secondary lymphoid organs.
