It serves to suppress cell cytotoxicity; activation; proliferation; and differentiation regarding autoantigens via its two intracellular ITIM sites. CD305 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and the leukocyte-associated inhibitory receptor family of proteins. It reacts with collagen ligands.
