- The STAT6 Leeporter™ Luciferase Reporter cell line is a stably transfected Ba/F3 cell line which expresses Renilla luciferase reporter gene under the transcriptional control of the STAT6 responsive promoter; so that the cell line is designed to measure the transcriptional activity of STAT6. Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 (STAT6) is a member of the STAT transcription factor family and plays an important role in adaptive immunity by transducing signals from extracellular cytokines including IL-4. The STAT6 induction by IL-4 is shown in Figure 1.
