Figure 2. MCF-7 cells were stained with acridine orange for 30 minutes, then washed twice in PBS (cells not stained with Magic Red®) and then analyzed by fluorescence microscopy at 400X using either 492 nm excitation with a 540-550 nm emission filter (A, lysosomes appear yellowish green), or 540 nm excitation with a long pass >640 nm barrier filter (B, lysosomes appear red).
