The Library Prep Kit for myBaits targeted sequencing provides a solution for preparing DNA samples via NGS, providing optimised results from low-input or degraded DNA. It ensures compatibility with myBaits capture and enables pooling of multiple libraries in a single reaction. Supporting a wide range of sample types, including human, plant, animal, viral, bacterial, and microbial DNA, as well as FFPE or cfDNA, the kit handles 1-500 ng of high molecular weight or degraded dsDNA (Pfeifer & Jin, 2024). It is ideal for applications such as targeted gene sequencing, whole exome sequencing (WES), and metagenomics, it offers adjustable library sizes (typically 300-500 bp), eliminating the need for sonication-based shearing and resulting in a cost-effective solution for generating high-quality targeted sequencing data.
myBaits Target Capture Kits offer biotinylated probes and reagents for efficient, scalable targeted sequencing across a range of NGS platforms.
