In Vivo Antibodies
Enhance your In Vivo Applications with 2BScientific’s Trusted Partners
In vivo antibodies are specifically formulated for use in living organisms rather than in vitro (test tube or culture dish) environments. These antibodies are designed to interact with biological systems in a way that allows researchers to study their effects in a physiological context, providing a more accurate and realistic representation of biological interactions. For example, cancer research often relies on in vivo models to study tumour progression, metastasis, and response to therapies. These studies can identify not only the efficacy of treatments but also the underlying mechanisms at play, leading to more targeted and effective therapeutic strategies.
Antibodies that are used for in vivo studies, especially in animal models, have unique properties that can help safeguard the organism and ensure accurate reproducibility results. It is worth noting that these in vivo antibodies are intended for research use only, whereas therapeutic (GMP grade) antibodies are used for pre-clinical applications and are subject to their own rigorous controls for development and manufacturing.
2BScientific Limited works closely with some of the best-in-class antibody manufacturers like Invivo Biotech and Absolute Antibody to offer highly validated monoclonal antibodies to enhance your invivo studies.
Key properties manufacturers must validate for invivo antibody usage are:
High Purity | These antibodies should be of exceptional purity, free from preservatives, stabilizers, and carrier proteins that could interfere with the biological system being studied |
Low Endotoxin Levels | To prevent unwanted immune responses, in vivo antibodies must have ultra-low endotoxin levels |
Pathogen-Free | Ensuring that in vivo antibodies are free of pathogens is crucial to avoid introducing infections into the host organism |
Low Protein Aggregation | Minimising protein aggregation is important to maintain antibody functionality and reduce the risk of adverse effects |
Advanced Binding Data | Providing detailed binding data and matching isotype controls help researchers understand the antibody's behaviour and interactions within the living organism |
InVivoPure+ from InVivo Biotech Services GmbH
InVivoPure+ antibodies are a premium line of monoclonal antibodies specifically designed for in vivo research applications. These antibodies are meticulously produced and purified to ensure they meet the highest standards required for reliable and reproducible in vivo studies. InvivoPure+ antibodies are produced under serum-free conditions and purified using Protein-A or Protein-G affinity chromatography. This results in antibodies with purity levels of ≥ 95%, ensuring minimal contaminants that could interfere with experimental outcomes. They also have endotoxin levels of ≤ 1 EU/mg. InvivoPure+ antibodies are available in various sizes to accommodate different research needs, from small-scale studies to large-scale experiments. Compared to other antibodies Invivo Biotech offers highly competitive pricing making it cost effective for research purposes.

mStab1-1.26, InVivoPure+ is a mouse monoclonal antibody against mouse Stabilin-1 also known as Clever-1 or FEEL-1. Stabilin-1 is a scavenger receptor expressed by sinusoidal endothelial cells (ECs) in the liver, lymph nodes, spleen, and bone marrow, produced exclusively under serum-free conditions from hybridoma and purified through one-step purification with Protein-G affinity chromatography.

Programmed death-1 (PD-1) is a cell surface receptor that functions as a T cell checkpoint and plays a central role in regulating T cell exhaustion. Binding of PD-1 to its ligand, programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), activates downstream signalling pathways and inhibits T cell activation. This antibody is produced exclusively under serum-free conditions from hybridoma and purified with Protein-A or Protein-G affinity chromatography.

Mouse IgG1 κ Isotype Control is a mouse monoclonal antibody ideal for use as a non-reactive, isotype-matched control for mouse IgG1 antibodies in most in vivo and in vitro applications. The antibody was generated by immunization with the recombinant Spike protein (S) from SARS-CoV-2 virus. This antibody has been tested by ELISA to assure minimal cross reactivity and is specifically directed against an epitope that is located within the S1-subunit but outside the RBD.

VivopureX™ antibodies from Absolute Antibody
VivopureX™ antibodies are also suitable for performing in vivo research in mouse models. Based on popular antibody clones, many originally sourced from rats or hamsters, the VivopureX™ collection comprises recombinant versions of existing products which Absolute Antibody has engineered into mouse-anti-mouse antibodies to improve research results. Specifically, by matching the antibody species to the host organism, VivopureX™ reduces unwanted immunogenicity, with a range of isotypes and subtypes available to choose from. They also feature engineered effector functions, with Fc receptor binding tailored to best suit popular applications such as depletion, agonism or blocking.

Mean tumor sizes in animals treated with PD-1 mouse IgG2a Fc SilentTM antibody based on clone RMP1-14 (Ab00813-2.3) are significantly smaller than in animals treated with the traditional rat IgG2a antibody (Ab00813-7.1).
Our data illustrate how VivopureX™ mouse antibodies provide increased long-term efficacy, potency and consistency compared to the original rat antibodies. In the figure to the left, our recombinant mouse PD-1 antibody based on the widely used clone RMP1-14 reduced tumour size in a mouse model more effectively than the original rat version.
