- ZPCK (SL-01) is a small molecule that inhibits the p53-MDM2 interaction at micromolar concentrations (20 uM). It has also been shown to inhibit bovine chymotrypsin A-y, indicating potential protease inhibitory activity. By disrupting the p53-MDM2 axis, ZPCK may stabilize p53 and promote its transcriptional activity, which is relevant in both cancer biology and neurodegenerative disease models.
