- MIP-1B Beta is a secreted monokine with inflammatory and chemokinetic properties and can exist as a homodimer. It belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-1-beta (also known as CCL4 or C-C motif chemokine 4) produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 69 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7620 Daltons.
