Llamatech Nanobody Solutions is the UK’s first and only fully local service producing nanobodies (VHHs) through natural llama immunisation. Based at the University of Reading and the Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR), and operating as a Home Office–designated research facility, we combine world-class academic infrastructure with hands-on expertise in camelid immunology to deliver highly specific, high-affinity nanobodies.
Their herd of llamas is at the heart of what they do. By offering nanobody production entirely within the UK, they remove the delays, regulatory hurdles, and customs challenges of outsourcing abroad - providing faster turnaround times, greater flexibility, and guaranteed compliance with UK ethical standards.
