mStab 1 from InVivo Biotech

mStab1-1.26, InVivoPure+ is a mouse monoclonal antibody against mouse Stabilin-1, also known as Clever-1 or FEEL-1. Stabilin-1 is a scavenger receptor expressed by sinusoidal endothelial cells (ECs) in the liver, lymph nodes, spleen, and bone marrow. 

It has also been shown that Clever-1/Stabilin-1 in type II macrophages and tumour vasculature acts as a new immunosuppressive molecule in cancer. Karikoski et al 2014 showed that Clever-1/Stabilin-1 supports the binding of tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes to tumour vasculature and increases the understanding of leukocyte immigration to tumours. The ability of anti- Clever-1/Stabilin-1 antibody treatment to attenuate tumour progression in WT mice in vivo is therapeutically relevant. Thus, Clever-1/Stabilin-1 may be an emerging new target for modulating immune evasion and lymphatic spread in cancer (Karikoski et al 2014).
