- Extra Details:
- UNC5CL is a membrane protein belonging to theUNC-5 family with a death domain and a ZU5 domain and is known to interact with p65/RELA and NFKB1. UNC5CL is known to interact with subunit p105 of NF-kappaB and transactivator p65 and is thus involved in inhibition of NF-kappaB activation and NF-kappaB-dependent transcription by inhibiting the binding of NF-kappaB to its target sequence (providing an alternative regulatory mechanism for NF-kappaB-mediated transcription). This regulatory protein sensitizes cells to apopotosis induced by TNF and TRAIL. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:8000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, observed in human kidney and ovary lysates on ~55kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
