Extra Details:: Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is a potent lymphoid factor which exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells. Recombinant mouse TNF-α is a soluble 156 amino acid protein (17.3kD) which corresponds to C-terminal extracellular domain of the full length transmembrane protein, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~17.3kD (156aa sequence) Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the cytolysis of murine L929 cells in the presence of actinomycin D is ≤0.1ng/ml.
