- Location: 15aa from the C-terminus of human TRIM5a (1). Applications: The peptide is used for blocking the activity of the TRIM5a (CT) antibody. Incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37°C usually completely blocks the antibody activity in Western blot. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
