- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000 Transglutaminase II catalyzes calcium-dependent post-translational modification of proteins by formation of an isopeptide bond within or between polypeptide chains. It is also known as TGC, tTG, type II-, Gh, cytosolic-, liver-, endothelial-, erythrocyte-, cellular-transglutaminase. Different tissues and cell types express varying amounts of tissue transglutaminase with a markedly high expression in rheumatoid lesions. It is implicated in programmed cell death, signal transduction, drug resistance, cell growth, endocytosis, insulin secretion, cell adhesion, cataract formation, and wound healing. MW of Antigen: 77-85kD Applications and Recommended Dilutions: Immunoprecipitation (Native and denatured) (Use Protein G) (Ab 2ug/mg protein lysate) Western Blotting (Ab 0.5-1ug/ml for 2hrs at RT) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin) (Ab 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT) * [Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.] The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the investigator. Positive Control: HUVEC cells. Breast carcinoma. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasm, cell membrane, and extracellular matrix Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at-20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
