- Extra Details:
- The DNA-binding factor TFE-3 contains adjacent helix-loop-helix (HLH) and leucine zipper (LZ) domains flanked by an upstream basic region. TFE-3 is ubiquitously expressed and can directly associates with DNA as either homodimers or heterodimers formed with two related proteins, TFEB or TFEC. TFE-3 binds and activates the microE3 motif of the immunoglobulin heavy-chain enhancer to induce B- cell-specific gene transcription and DNA recombination. Applications: Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, ~60kD band observed in lysates of HEK293 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
