- Extra Details:
- Toll-like receptors are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They are type I transmembrane signaling receptors which activate the innate immune system in response to pathogen invasion. So far, at least 13 TLR members have been identified. The secretory protein, MD2, associates with cell-surface bound TLR4 (CD284) on monocytes, B cells and T cells. TLR4 has been recognized as critical for host recognition of bacterial LPS in conjunction with MD2. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Based on references below, other applications may include Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤0.25ug/ml/10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
