- Human T cell receptor (TCR) is a T cell surface expressed heterodimer of a/b or g/d chains. TCR's recognize antigen peptides bound to MHC molecules forming the basis of antigen specific response by T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50. 80ul labels 5x10e5 cells. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. 5x10e5 cultured CH7C17 tumor cells (HA1.7 V beta 3+ transfectant) were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of T2040-17B at a 1:50 dilution. 2. Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.1 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG2a/FITC negative control at a similar concentration. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
